Avalanche Pizza will be donating nutritional, 15-course food bags for any of our neighbors in need of food.
Sunday, Aug. 17 from 9 a.m. until they are all gone at two locations in Athens County:
Federal Valley Resource Center, 8225 SR 329, Stewart AND Athens City School District Building, 21 Birge Drive, Chauncey.
We will be preparing 300 bags consisting enough for 3 full meals per-person, per-bag.
Our objective is to help our neighbors in Athens County who are under-served and hungry. Our goal is to give hungry children and families the opportunity to eat well during the last week before school starts.
Most of the foods are obtained locally and prepared by local people.
If you wish, you can also donate money to this cause. All expenses will be made public.
